Sheraton Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel becomes the fourth Starwood Hotels & Resorts property in Indonesia’s capital and the second Sheraton-branded hotel in the city. Part of the Superblock Gandaria City complex, the upscale property offer 293 guestrooms and suites, a club lounge, three dining venues, a fitness centre and an outdoor pool. The hotel caters to meeting and event planners with more than 3,500 square metres of function space. Starwood plans to continue its expansion in the city in the coming years with new Aloft, St. Regis, Westin and W hotels in the Indonesian capital.

Earlier this year, COOKFOX Architects announced the opening of Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music at Long Branch, New Jersey’s, Monmouth University. This new cultural landmark is dedicated to telling the story of music in this country while celebrating Bruce Springsteen’s work within that tradition. The 30,000-square-foot building houses exhibits about the music of Bruce Springsteen and of other American musical genres; the Springsteen archives; a 240-seat auditorium for concerts, academic lectures and video screenings; and gallery space for changing exhibits.
