Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London officially opened its doors to guests, marking the hotel group’s first property in the United Kingdom. Situated in the tallest building in Western Europe on floors 34–52 of the glass-clad Shard, the 202-room hotel is located on the historic South Bank of the River Thames. Dining venues include Tīng, serving locally sourced cuisine with Asian flavors; Láng, a patisserie and artisan deli; and Gong, London’s highest champagne and cocktail bar. Additional amenities include a 24-hour gym, London’s highest infinity pool and various meeting venues. Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts currently operates 80 luxury hotels around the globe.
