Hilton’s Tapestry Collection brand makes its debut in Costa Rica and Central America with Montara Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The new 97-room hotel (including 38 suites) prioritizes wellness and well-being, offering experiences for guests to slow down, disconnect and return home refreshed.

Located in the mountains of Heredia, the hotel overlooks the Central Valley across lush grounds, blending contemporary elegance with the beauty of its natural surroundings. Accommodations boast expansive windows with mountain, garden and private lake views; private balconies; and firepits.

Dining spans four distinct concepts rooted in Costa Rican identity, including Bosco, the signature restaurant; Santoro, a fine-dining steakhouse with an open kitchen; and 1998 Lobby Bar, serving signature cocktails and curated beverages. There’s also a dedicated juice bar near the pool and fitness areas.

The 13,200-square-foot spa is led by specialists across a wide range of treatments designed around restoration, well-being and longevity. There are also open-air decks, meditation areas and private nature trails.

An exclusive art collection was created specifically for the hotel by renowned Costa Rican artists. Sustainability is also woven throughout the hotel’s design and operations, including solar panels, wastewater treatment plant, hydration stations to eliminate single-use plastics and electric maintenance.
