LATAM Airlines announced a multimillion-dollar investment to modernize its fleet of 24 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, updating both Premium Business and economy cabins. Modernization began September 2024 and will be completed around mid-2026.
The airline’s Premium Business cabin will feature Recaro R7 seats equipped with doors for increased privacy, making the airline the first in South America to feature this type of exclusivity. Its economy class will be fully renovated with new seats and more space. LATAM will also introduce an Economy Plus option for passengers wanting extra legroom and a greater seat recline.
