Top Chef World All-Stars contestants Tom Goetter and Dale MacKay team up with Emerald Cruises for a once-in-a-lifetime culinary cruise. MacKay joins Scenic Group’s Goetter on the eight-day Danube Delights with Celebrity Chef Dale MacKay sailing. The cruise departs from Budapest on June 21 aboard Emerald Destiny.

Chef Goetter oversees the culinary program for Scenic Eclipse Discovery Yachts and Emerald Cruise yachts as VP of Hotel Operations for Scenic Group. “It’s going to be great fun to collaborate with Dale again, especially as we’ll be sailing through my native Germany where I first learned to cook,” stated Goetter.
“I am very much looking forward to my first European river cruise with Emerald Cruises,” said MacKay. “I’m thrilled to be able to cook with chef Tom again, and I can’t wait to explore the food traditions along the Danube River and infuse the flavors and techniques into my own culinary approach to share with guests.”

The itinerary features exclusive experiences with the chefs, including a private cocktail reception, a dinner menu created specifically by chefs Goetter and MacKay for the sailing, a live cooking demonstration in the style of a Top Chef challenge, and Q&A with the chefs. Two guests will also be chosen to cook with them.
Pricing starts around $3,700 per person based on double occupancy. An early bird pricing discount is available through Jan. 30.
