Recently, The Oetker Collection partnered with the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, joining the alliance’s influential network of member hotels, now representing more than 50,000 properties across the globe, as well as the organization’s affiliate members across the chain. These members are united in their approach to responsible hospitality and creating a lasting positive impact for the planet and its inhabitants.

In this partnership, these companies implement a set of eco-standards and commitments in order to provide responsible management of its hotels. Each hotel favors local producers, supports local community projects and provides framework and training to operate responsibly. Each hotel also has a unique set of initiatives. For instance, Jumby Bay Island in Antigua supports the protection of the Hawksbill Sea Turtle nesting colony, while Eden Rock – St. Barths Hotel helps local government restore a previously exhausted brackish water lagoon.
