Air France’s Ready to Fly pre-travel health document verification service offers customers the certainty of knowing they have all the health documents required for their destination before they arrive at the airport. Air France has worked to assist its customers throughout the pandemic by enabling them to easily check the health documents required by the authorities of their destination with information updated in real time on the airfrance.traveldoc.aero website. Air France’s Ready to Fly takes this one step further.
A few days prior to departure, customers traveling on eligible flights receive an email inviting them to upload health documents on an Air France online platform; the documents are then checked, with a confirmation message sent to customers if they are complete. Boarding passes will be issued and marked Ready to Fly, allowing for quick processing at the airport on the day of departure. Customers with missing or incomplete documents receive a notification message.
The free, optional service ensures a smoother customer journey through the airport by eliminating successive checks. Tested since June, Ready to Fly is now available on flights from Paris to Corsica and French overseas destinations, and will be gradually rolled out over the summer to more destinations.
