American Airlines and Qatar Airways recently renewed their codeshare agreement, suspended two years ago, with plans to extend and enhance the agreement further.

Pending government approval, American Airlines plans to place its code on Qatar Airways non-stop and connecting services to and from the United States, allowing American Airlines customers to access new destinations in the Middle East, East Africa, South Asia and Southeast Asia. Qatar Airways plans to place its code on flights beyond American Airlines’ hubs in Dallas (DFW), Chicago (ORD), New York (JFK), Philadelphia (PHL), Miami (MIA) and Los Angeles (LAX).
