Yotel recently announced its first hotel in Australia, YOTEL Melbourne, is scheduled to arrive in 2022. The hotel was signed with Cornerstone Partners Group, an integrated developer with offices throughout Asia.
The property is large, coming in at 244 rooms and in reasonable walking distance to a number of high-profile Melbourne attractions, and will be an attractive option for travellers coming to the city.
The brand’s first property in Australia, YOTEL Melbourne will be the brand’s flagship on the continent. Every room will include SmartBeds and Komyuniti spaces, a Yotel signature designed to help guests seamlessly transition from work to play. Areas for co-working, meetings, relaxing and socializing will fill the property.
“Australia is a very sophisticated hotel market with strong stakeholders; however, we believe the affordable luxury segment has been underserved and that’s what YOTEL intends to solve,” said Hubert Viriot, CEO, Yotel.
Yotel plans to bring all three hotel concepts, including YotelAir, centered around airports and YotelPad, focused on long-stay guests.
