In addition to its no-added fees approach, cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art electric house car, Virgin Hotels Chicago is now offering a new amenity: the first-ever in-room pour-over service created specifically for the hotel by local favorite Bow Truss Coffee Roasters.

Inspired by European in-room coffee offerings, Virgin Hotels teamed up with the Chicago-based coffee company to provide guests with a premium cup of coffee in the privacy of their room. The pour-over process, demonstrated online, involves a unique kettle and five simple that can be completed within minutes.

“Part of the Virgin Hotels proposition is to incorporate the local landscape where possible; partnering with beloved brands within the community, and when we were introduced to Bow Truss, it felt like the perfect match,” said Marlene Leslie, vice president of food and beverage, Virgin Hotels. “Bow Truss roasts on demand so we knew we were getting the best product, and they were willing to work with us on an unexpected yet stylish in-room offering.”

Bow Truss Coffee is also served in Virgin Hotels Chicago restaurants, including Two Zero Three, the corner coffee shop; Miss Ricky’s, the classic American diner; and The Commons Club, the social epicenter of the hotel. Bow Truss and Virgin Hotels are currently working on creating a single source signature blend to debut this spring.
