United unveiled its new premium-class lounges at London Heathrow Airport’s new Terminal 2, set to open June 4. The United Global First and United Club Lounges occupy a total of 22,000 square feet of space and feature floor-to-ceiling windows boasting views of the airfield, vintage aviation-themed artwork, WiFi and ample food and beverage options. United currently operates 17 daily flights to Heathrow from six of its hubs in the United States: Chicago (ORD), Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), Newark (EWR), San Francisco (SFO) and Washington Dulles (IAD). The United Global First Lounge will be open to first-class passengers flying with any Star Alliance carrier while the United Club Lounge will offer access to business-class passengers traveling with Star Alliance airlines.

Cunard recently announced a stunning refurbishment of Queen Mary 2; the ship prepares to enter dry dock on March 31, 2027, as the flagship of the Cunard fleet and the only ship in the world offering regularly scheduled trans-Atlantic crossings between Southampton and New York. The refurbishment will introduce new Grill Suites, an elevated wellness offering, enhanced retail spaces and refreshed guest areas, while preserving the ship’s Art Deco identity. The ship will return to service May 9, 2027.
