Tour operator Tauck recently announced a new addition to its lineup of tours for 2025. Music of America: Nashville to New Orleans highlights the roots of country music, blues, jazz, rock and more in Nashville, Memphis; the Mississippi Delta; and New Orleans, Louisiana.
The itinerary features unique experiences including a private guided tour at Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, exclusive after-hours tour of Elvis Presley’s Graceland, a tour of Delta Blues Museum, and a private jazz performance at Preservation Hall. The tour also highlights culinary traditions of the regions, with a bourbon tasting, cooking demonstration and farewell dinner reception at New Orleans’ renowned Galatoire’s.
Music of America is part of Tauck’s exclusive partnership with filmmaker Ken Burns and Ken Burns American Journeys, which celebrates 15 years in 2025. Throughout the tour, guests watch short videos from Burns and his collaborator Dayton Duncan discussing topics including New Orleans’ influence on jazz, the life of Louis Armstrong and the role of the Mississippi River in the spread of the country’s musical genres.
The tour includes stays at Four Seasons Hotel Nashville; The Peabody Memphis; The Westin Jackson; and The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans.
Pricing starts at $6,290 per person based on double occupancy and includes 19 meals, airport transfers, service charges, admission fees, taxes and more. The tour will offer departure dates March–May and September–October.
