Going Green with ThredUp Clothing Consignment
I’ve recently enlisted the help of ThredUp, an online clothing store and consignment shop, to help with my wardrobe rule of one thing in, one thing out. I still donate to Philly AIDS Thrift and Goodwill, but when I have items with tags or that are brand-new and I’m feeling a little greedy, I send my clothing and shoes to ThredUp.

United Airlines First to Purchase Sustainable Aviation Fuel for ORD
Chicago O’Hare International Airport will soon receive sustainable aviation fuel, all thanks to United Airlines, which became the first airline to purchase SAF for use at the airport, one of the largest in the United States. Neste, a producer of SAF, will provide up to 1 million gallons of its Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel. The first supply arrived in August.

Seattle Sojourn, Part 2
Last week I introduced you to the start of our quick, two-night trip to Seattle. We packed a lot into our one full day in the city, taking advantage of sunny weather and 70-plus-degree temperatures (and this was early May!) to walk the several blocks down to the waterfront from our hotel. We lived in the Seattle area for about 15 years but have been away for longer than that (apart from a few short visits), and we were fascinated to see all the new construction completed and underway throughout the downtown core.
