A Sobering but Worthwhile Stop
On a recent road trip across our great state of Pennsylvania, my fiancé and I, bound for Pittsburgh, noted a sign for the Flight 93 Memorial, dedicated to the 9/11 flight that crashed in a small town Pennsylvania thanks to the passengers on board who brought the plane down in a field as opposed to its intended target, the Pentagon.

Daejeon Prepares for Its Iconic Zero O’Clock Festival
Daejeon, South Korea, looks forward to August 2024 and the return of its iconic tradition, the Zero O’Clock Festival. This year, the event is held Aug. 9 –17 with a time travel theme featuring past, present and future zones. Find events pertaining to each zone’s characteristics in the area of Jungang-ro Street, from Daejeon Station to the former site of the South Chungcheong Provincial Office. These streets will be free of vehicles, and public transportation is highly recommended.
A Weekend in Pittsburgh
Last weekend my fiancé and I took a road trip to commemorate the start of summer. We opted to check out the other side of our state and visit Pittsburgh. For city center accommodations in the heart of it all, I recommend Fairmont Pittsburgh.
