Last weekend I attended my first-ever wine festival. Since I turned 21, I have been a fan of trying beverages from different creators. I typically am a bigger fan of beer than of wine, but I did not want to turn down an opportunity to try a bunch of local wineries.

I thought I already said goodbye to the beach a few weeks ago as summer officially came to a close, but after (another) unseasonably warm fall weekend, I found myself at the Jersey Shore yet again. Even at the tail end of September, I was trying to avoid a sunburn while running in and out of the ocean to cool off.

This past weekend my boyfriend, a couple of friends and I took advantage of the lovely weather by attending Doylestown’s 28th Annual Arts Festival. More than 160 juried artists, live music, local food vendors, live art and interactive demonstrations make this two-day festival a highly anticipated one in Bucks County.
