Starwood To Open Aloft In Adelaide, Australia

With a planned opening in 2018, Adelaide, Australia’s emerging New Mayfield district will be the location for Aloft Adelaide. Headed up by architectural firm Woods Bagot and landscape architects Oxigen, the hotel’s urban design will extend to 200 loft-like guestrooms, an indoor glass bottom rooftop swimming pool, a rooftop running track and 24-hour access fitness center. The Aloft brand’s music program will give guests the opportunity to experience new music acts, while social areas include the signature W XYZ bar. Flexible meeting space will be designed to accommodate intimate meetings and large business gatherings. The Adelaide address will be the third Aloft property to debut in Australia, joining Aloft Sydney Pitt Street (opening Oct. 2016) and Aloft Perth Rivervale (opening in early 2017).
