Starwood Hotels & Resorts continues to strengthen its position in Latin America with the opening of Sheraton Reserva do Paiva Hotel and Convention Center, the company’s eighth property in Brazil’s northeast region. Located approximately 30 minutes from Recife and one block away from one of the most beautiful stretches of beaches in northeastern Brazil, the property is the first international upper-upscale hotel in Reserva do Paiva. The hotel features 298 guestrooms, including 18 Club Suites and one of the largest Presidential Suites in the region, boasting 1,300 square feet of space. Additional offerings include a 6,500-square-foot spa, a fitness center, a lounge on the top floor, two restaurants and a beach club, featuring a lounge area, cabanas, a large swimming pool and beach access. Starwood’s Latin American portfolio currently includes approximately 80 hotels across its nine brands, including 33 Sheraton hotels in 12 countries, and a pipeline of an additional 20 properties.
