Six Senses Laamu and Six Senses Kanuhura in the Maldives invite guests to ring in the holidays in sand instead of snow. From Dec. 22 to Jan. 2, 2026, both resorts will feature holiday programming combining holistic wellness, extraordinary dining and activities generating moments of indulgence, reflection and joy.

Six Senses Laamu kicks off the holiday season with a festive Christmas tree lighting ceremony and cocktail party. Over at Six Senses Kanuhura, festive cheer spreads with holiday card making, cookie decorating and a beachfront party under bright lights. The big man himself will swap his sleigh for a boat and arrive by sea to meet the little travelers at Kanuhura.
Each resort will feature special holiday dining experiences. Six Senses Laamu offers a Christmas tasting menu, lobster beach BBQs, Japanese omakase, Asian street markets and other festive culinary offerings. Six Senses Kanuhura will host Christmas Eve celebrations, tapas nights, Champagne Stories, tastings and truffle-paired dining experiences.

Don’t forget to ring in the New Year in paradise, either. Six Senses Laamu begins the night with a cocktail party, live Bodu Beru drumming, a gala buffet and a countdown on the beach. Guests at Six Senses Kanuhura will enjoy a sunset soiree on the castaway island, which includes a gala dinner, beach countdown party, a DJ, mixologists and fireworks.
