Singapore Airlines will increase flight frequency to Cape Town (CPT) to meet growing demand in 2018.
Cape Town will be served with a daily flight via Johannesburg (JNB), beginning March 26, up from the current four flights per week.
The airline’s Airbus A350-900 will operate the flights with 253 seats in three classes: 42 in business class, 24 in premium economy and 187 in economy.
Flight SQ478 will depart Singapore (SIN) for Johannesburg Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 01:25, arriving at 06:10, and the Johannesburg–Cape Town flight will depart at 07:10, arriving at 09:25.
On the return, flight SQ479 will depart Cape Town for Johannesburg Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 10:40, arriving at 12:40, and the Johannesburg–Singapore flight will depart at 13:45, arriving at 06:10+1.
