The Sheraton Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin opened its doors last week, marking Sheraton’s entrance in the city, a vital economic, educational and cultural hub in the Volga-Vyatka region.
“The opening of Sheraton Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin highlights our promise to enhance and develop our portfolio in the Russian market, while reinforcing the brand’s position as a leader in global travel,” says John Licence, vice president, premium and select brands, Europe, Marriott International. “We are thrilled to build on Sheraton’s proud heritage in Central Europe, and look forward to helping our guests explore, relax and enjoy an exceptional stay in this gem of a destination.”
The property is within walking distance of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin, as well as shopping and historic attractions. Guests choose from 176 guestrooms and suites, and receive complimentary breakfast, drinks and snacks in the Sheraton Club Lounge. A Sheraton Fitness Centre and massage suite are available. The signature restaurant is Smorodinn, serving seasonal cuisine with fresh ingredients. Meeting and event space include six meeting rooms.
Easy access to the airport (GOJ) is provided, as is rail service to Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The property is just one in a long line of hotels slated to open in Russia, with Marriott properties planned for Krasnodar, Moscow, Rostov-On-Don, Saransk, Sochi and Voronezh before the end of 2018.
