Royal Jordanian and Middle East Airlines signed a new codeshare agreement to offer passengers more options. Under the terms of the new agreement, Royal Jordanian will place its code on ME-operated flights between Amman (AMM) and Beirut (BEY), while Middle East Airlines will place its code on RJ-operated flights between Amman and Beirut. Royal Jordanian passengers can choose from three more daily flights between the two cities operated by Middle East Airlines, in addition to the existing daily flights to Beirut operated by Royal Jordanian, while Middle East Airlines passengers can also add to their choice the two RJ flights.
“This codeshare emanates from the deep and brotherly relationship between the Kingdom of Jordan and the Republic of Lebanon, as well as between Middle East Airlines and Royal Jordanian, whereby the two airlines, although members of different alliances, complement each other to develop further the existing cultural, business and tourist ties between the two countries,” said Mohamad El-Hout, chairman and director general, Middle East Airlines.

All it takes is one glance at the grounds of Quinta Dona Maria, which includes a grand villa and surrounding gardens, to realize wine tasting in Portugal comes with a good dose of history. The vineyard is located in Estremoz, just northeast of the first-century Roman ruins found in Evora. In 1718 King João V built this estate for his lover, Dona Maria. Then venture inside a building that stores large amphora vases, including one dating back to the 1200s.
