Rosewood Rome will open in 2023 in the heart of the Italian city, overlooking Via Veneto. Stretching one city block, each of Rosewood Rome’s three historic buildings were built in the early 1900s and were the former headquarters of Italy’s Banca Nazionale del Lavoro.

The hotel’s location on Via Veneto will serve as design inspiration for the property. Rosewood’s A Sense of Place philosophy ensures Rome’s relaxed ambiance and devotion to dolce far niente, or the art of doing nothing, influence the concept, mixing traditional architectural elements and modern décor.

Rosewood Rome will boast 157 accommodations, 44 of them suites; three dining outlets, including a contemporary Italian bistro, a lobby bar and a rooftop spot; a subterrain experience in the bank’s original vault including a modern Roman Bathhouse; Sense, A Rosewood Spa on the rooftop; and three meeting rooms and a grand ballroom.
