The new Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel is bringing guests a new digital platform called the Discovery Portal from Time Out New York, created to assist travelers with finding the best spots in the city. The Discovery Portal will feature an ever-changing array of curated information regarding restaurants, events, shopping, shows and nearby neighborhoods. For all day-to-day requests, the Discovery Portal should be able to take the place of a traditional concierge. For highly specialized requests or questions, the property’s concierges, called Navigators, will be available to help. The Discovery Portal will be located between the 34^th and 35^th Street entrances and be designed as a larger-than-life touch screen.
