Princess Cruises announced changes for its summer 2021 sailings from Los Angeles on Alaskan and European itineraries. The Majestic Princess will set sail for Alaska from the West Coast, replacing Regal Princess, which will once again sail Europe.
This deployment change will be the first time Majestic Princess ventures to Alaska. The itinerary will follow the same May–September timeline as before, but cancels the May 4, 2021, five-day Alaska Sampler cruise.
Meanwhile, Regal Princess will replace Grand Princess for summer 2021, and cruise from Southampton, England, on 17 round-trip sailings to Iceland, the Mediterranean, Norway, Scandinavia and more must-visit European destinations. The change will also result in the cancellation of the Regal Princess South Pacific Crossing, and two Grand Princess seven-day Europe cruises.
Guests booked on the Regal Princess Alaskan cruise and Grand Princess European voyages will be moved from Regal Princess to Majestic Princess in Alaska, and from Grand Princess to Regal Princess in Europe — guests should automatically receive new booking confirmations.
Grand Princess will sail an all-new summer season along the coast of Mexico and California, from Los Angeles, with more information to come.
