PARROT ANAFI FPV DRONE
First-person view is the latest frontier in drone technology, using goggles to put you in your drone’s perspective as it flies. French manufacturer Parrot waded in with this package, which combines the Anafi drone with FPV goggles powered by a smartphone. It makes for a hugely immersive experience at a lower price point than rival companies, which charge around $700 for the goggles alone. The Anafi proves a great drone for portability and boasts a 180-degree tilting camera. The FPV pack ships with the drone, glasses, a backpack and other accessories. $799.

Icelandair recently announced its newest North American gateway: Detroit, Michigan. The seasonal flights begin May 18, 2023, taking off from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport to Reykjavik (KEF), Iceland. The four weekly, non-stop flights will run through Oct. 30, 2023. Flight 872 departs Detroit for Iceland Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, at 8:30 p.m., on a 160-seat Boeing 737MAX. The return, from Reykjavik to Detroit, departs 5 p.m. on the same days of the week, arriving at 6:25 p.m.
