Fresh from a $32 million renovation, the Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona is centrally located in a neoclassical building on the famed Passeig De Gracia in Spain’s Catalonian capital city. Refurbished under the direction of architect Antonio Obrador, each of the spacious 227 rooms, 42 suites and six penthouses features a contemporary décor. Penthouses have their own private terraces, butler services and a daily assortment of Champagne and hors d’oeuvres. On display throughout the property are over 1,000 works by artists including Miró, Tápies, Chillida, Saura Guinovart and Ráfols Casamada.
Michelin-starred chef Nandu Jubany oversees the property’s three restaurants. The newest, El Patiois, serves lunch, dinner and an expansive weekend brunch. A selection of fine cavas, wines and Champagnes can be enjoyed in El Bar, while La Dolce Vitae’s menu is served poolside on a terrace with city views. On the top floor, MajesticSpa offers a range of services plus a hot and cold hydrotherapy zone.
