Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain offers guests a new way to discover inner peace. With an exclusive promotion from the resort, guests are treated to a visit to the nearby Puzhao Temple, a Buddhist temple from the Qing Dynasty. Guests take a 20-minute ride to the temple site, where a tai chi master greets them. The one-hour experience includes breathing exercises, a tai chi class for beginners and a tea ceremony.
“Tai chi is one of China’s most fascinating art forms, and the Puzhao Temple with its deep-rooted history, pristine ambiance and perfect feng shui make this the ideal place to learn this healthy and spiritual exercise. Having been there myself many times, it is not only for the tai chi but also for the history, religion and culture,” said Manish Puri, general manager, Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain.
The total promotion includes morning class at the temple, a Zen tea ceremony in the temple’s tea house, a Chinese vegetarian breakfast with organic juices, tai chi dress and shoes and private car transfers. The experience starts at RMB 1,000.
