Last week New York’s NoMad neighborhood welcomed a new luxury lifestyle accommodation option.

Managed by Journal Hotels, The Mondrian Park Avenue will be a cultural hot spot, providing a lively dining and nightlife scene and serving as a hub for local art. The hotel’s convenient location near Madison Square Park, the Flatiron District, the Empire State Building and other landmarks places guests in the middle of New York’s richest cultural traditions.

Originally constructed in 1918, the 189-room hotel boasts stylish and contemporary guestrooms and suites, designed for comfort and convenience, with plush bedding and floating desks for a versatile workspace. The 1,300-square-foot Piet Suite offers the look and feel of a modern Manhattan residence with two bedrooms, a separate living room and dining area, wet bar and private balconies.

On-property amenities include Cleo restaurant, helmed by chef Danny Elmaleh; a rooftop lounge called Fifteen Stories; and Yours Truly, an underground nightclub accessible by hidden entrance.
