Hotels and resorts in New England are preparing for the upcoming maple season.
Hotel Vermont has its new maple madness offer, which includes a weekend stay at the boutique Burlington property, breakfast and a half-day maple experience tour. The five-hour experience includes hands-on maple tapping and stops at the Golden Dome Statehouse, Morse Farm Sugarhouse, Fresh Tracks Winery, Red Hen Bakery and Café and three historic bridges.
Mountain Top Inn & Resort celebrates with maple-themed offerings throughout the resort. Spa-goers will enjoy maple-infused spa treatments incorporating the spa’s maple sugar body scrub. Those at the property’s Mountain Top Tavern can order the themed cocktail, the Maple Creamy, made from VT Sapling Liquor, vanilla vodka and whipped cream.
Omni Mount Washington Resort’s New Hampshire maple experience gives travelers a thorough maple harvesting experience. Guests will visit Rocks Estate to identify and tap trees, collect sap and see it being transformed into maple syrup. Rocks Estate also offers horse-drawn wagon rides and a maple museum.
