Just 15 months after devastating fires and mudslides ravaged the site of San Ysidro Ranch, the luxury property is reopening.
The San Ysidro Ranch reopened last week after a complete renovation. Changes to the property include three totally rebuilt cottages and a new wine cellar.
“San Ysidro Ranch is a special place where one can indulge the senses and invigorate the soul; it is a slice of Heaven unlike anywhere else in the world. The Ranch prides itself on the history, the beauty and the spirit of this special property. We all have worked diligently to restore it to be better than ever,” said Ty Warner, owner, San Ysidro Ranch.
The accommodations sit on 500 acres filled with olive trees and French lavender. The renovations include new furniture and décor. In addition to the new and luxuriously renovated rooms, the ranch is home to the Kennedy Cottage, where John and Jackie Kennedy stayed on their honeymoon in 1953.
