Kimpton Ashbel New York-Park Avenue welcomes guests January 2026 in Midtown Manhattan as the newest New York City property from Kimpton. Located in a historic building constructed in 1928 during the Beaux-Arts movement as Doral Park Avenue Hotel, Kimpton Ashbel was recently renovated, appeasing today’s travelers while still celebrating its storied past.

The new luxury lifestyle hotel features a townhouse-inspired design, complete with layered warm woods, soft colors and gold accents. The hotel also sports one-of-a-kind artwork and custom-designed furniture created just for Kimpton Ashbel.

The ground floor features a variety of reimagined residential spaces like a foyer, living room and family room. The living room has a stone fireplace, built-in seating, a floating open space banquette and a library. SoHo Art Gallery will also supply a series of original mixed-media art pieces to bring personality to the space. The library will be filled with a collection of Assouline and Taschen books.

Kimpton Ashbel has 205 guestrooms and suites, including 14 family-friendly connecting rooms. Each room features jade green accents, plush fabrics and unique millwork headboards. Some rooms will also offer stunning views of Park Avenue and the Empire State Building.

Park & Bel, an innovative café concept, features morning favorites like artisanal baked goods, seasonal fruits and sandwiches, as well as small plates like curated cheeses, prepared cured meats and spiced nuts.
