When visiting Kayak´s website to look for travel options, users can use the chat feature to ask for travel suggestions in a more conversational manner. Rather than plugging in data such as travel dates and then facing an endless list of options through which to sort, using the chat option means asking a single question and receiving only a handful of responses, making the narrowing-down process even easier.

Travelers in tight spots (such as a quick layover or caught without a lodging option in a new city) will find the feature´s quick reply times and succinct responses even more useful. Although Kayak´s chat feature has been up and running since late June, users are reminded to keep their queries as clear as possible as there are still a few kinks to work out.
