Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin recently unveiled its newly designed Adlon Pool wellness complex on the property’s lower level. Located across from the iconic Brandenburg Gate, the hotel underwent an extensive, eight-month renovation on the wellness space.
At nearly 10,000 square feet, the Adlon Pool wellness retreat features a new black-tiled pool, fireplace lounge, relaxation areas, whirlpool, multiple different saunas, an ice waterfall and ice plunge pool. Guests may choose from a selection of experience showers featuring color changes, ambient sounds and varying size rain effects. The space also features a 24-hour, state-of-the-art gym with an array of fitness equipment, as well as access to personal training services. Enjoy refreshments from the pool bar, with a selection of local delicacies and beverages.

“We have been eagerly awaiting the reopening of our wellness area and are delighted to be able to harmoniously complement our ‘Adlon Spa by Resense’ with the newly designed Adlon Pool in the same, ultra-modern style to offer our guests an all-around perfect relaxation experience,” said Karina Ansos, director, Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin.
Kempinski Hotel Group, along with DH Deutsche Development Holding, worked with interior designer Anne Maria Jagdfeld on the design.
“We are thrilled to have created a modern and timeless retreat for our guests in the best sense of the word, which is in no way inferior to the much-vaunted ‘Adlon Spa by Resense.’ The new meditative ambience enables a completely new, feel-good experience,” said Jagdfeld.

Adlon Pool is open daily, 7 a.m.–9 p.m. Use of the space is complimentary to hotel guests. Day passes are available to purchase for non-hotel guests.

It was known as the “Kai Tak heart attack” — the thrilling, terrifying final approach into Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Airport.
