GroundLink Unveils Corporate Car Service

Jul 31, 2017

GroundLink, a global black car service, unveils BRIO, a new technology platform exclusively for managed business travel.

The service combines 24/7 customer support with leading technology to deliver safe, reliable transportation in major cities around the world. The transportation tool, created to alleviate everyday frustrations business travelers, travel arrangers and corporate travel managers endure, will be available this fall.

“It was our goal to leverage the latest technology services along with our award-winning, high-touch customer service and deep understanding of the managed business travel space, to bring an intuitive, groundbreaking solution to our corporate travel partners. We believe that BRIO is just that,” said Liz Carisone, chief executive officer, GroundLink.

Travel arrangers never need to worry about calculating travel time with BRIO’s suggested pickup times, estimated time of integrated arrival flight data and ride tracking. The service makes it easy for arrangers to book rides for travelers, whether it’s a scheduled ride to the airport, or a Ride Now booking. BRIO links travelers with their travel arranger, and automatically saves history and preferences. Multiple rides can be booked in one seamless step with linked airport and return rides. The booking tool also provides full visibility of real-time travel and past travel information. Travelers have the opportunity to easily switch between business and personal accounts.

Travel managers have full transparency into the company’s complete ground transportation spend along with its expense management functionality and customizable reports with find, filter and download options.

With complete web, mobile web and mobile app integration, BRIO keeps passengers, professional drivers and travel managers in sync.

The Island of the Knights

Welcome to Rhodes, a medieval treasure beautifully preserved throughout the centuries. Rhodes is the capital of the Dodecanese, an island ideal not only for those who want to relax, but also for those looking for an action-packed holiday! With its bright green hills, rich green valleys and uninterrupted line of golden beaches, Rhodes is truly a blessed place. “The sun island” has more sunshiny days and milder temperatures throughout the year than any other location in Greece. It is, after all, one of the country’s easternmost places and among the first to welcome summer on its impressive beaches. Add in the excellent facilities for tourism, the island’s special blend of cosmopolitan and traditional, and numerous cultural and archaeological sites, the most important being the Medieval (Old) Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and you’ve got the perfect holiday destination. While on Rhodes, don’t miss a daytrip to nearby Sými. An island of sponge divers and seamen, Sými used to have 30,000 inhabitants before the Second World War and was the richest island in the Dodecanese, despite its small size. Today, Sými attracts many visitors thanks to its beautifully preserved Neo-Classical buildings and the famous Archangel Michael monastery at Panormitis.
