Daily

Earning spots on National Geographic’s Best of the World 2022 and Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel for 2022 lists, Atlanta creates buzz. Visit Georgia’s capital and most populous city to experience its passion, vibrant neighborhoods, progressive vibe, Civil Rights history, pop culture influences and top-rated attractions. At the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and known as the City in the Forest, Atlanta offers plenty to experience outdoors.

GETTING THERE & AROUND

Domestic and international flights arrive and depart at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, one of the world’s busiest. Find hotel shuttles, domestically, in Ground Transportation Center, West Curb Area. Taxis charge a flat rate to the Atlanta Business District; expect metered rates for rides outside the main business area. Rideshares pick up domestic arrivals near North Economy Lot. Travelers can take MARTA both to and from the airport and around Atlanta, to Buckhead and beyond. A single trip costs $2.50. The Atlanta Streetcar makes 12 stops along a 2.7-mile loop; and you’ll find taxis, rideshares, bike rentals and pedestrian-friendly areas throughout Atlanta.
