Tel Aviv’s newest addition to the city’s boutique hotel scene is Lily & Bloom, built in the International and Bauhaus styles in 1935 by architect Alexander Friedman. The building was the location of one of Israel’s first banks, and is located in the historic Neve Tzedek neighborhood close to Allenby Street. Each of the 22 urban-chic rooms is high on design, with elements that include hand-sourced tables, sofas, lamps and other furnishings from Israel, France and Italy.

Accommodation types include concept, classic, superior and deluxe, all with serene white palettes, bathroom floors of Carrera marble and plenty of technology. High-speed WiFi is complimentary. The property’s lobby features a curved, symmetrical terrace that leads to the second floor. Visible insight into the history of the building includes such features as metal profiles, reinforced concrete, nursery windows, columns and wide wall openings in the lobby walls. A lobby bar, dining area, solarium and rooftop patio round out the spaces. Menu dishes celebrate the setting with locally sourced fish, dairy and other products.
