Delta Air Lines recorded its busiest month in history in July by transporting 18.3 million passengers all over the world.

Delta’s previous record for passengers transported in a month was set just one month earlier in June 2018, when the airline transported 17.7 million passengers.

On the month’s busiest day, July 26, the airline served nearly 662,000 people. July 26 was also the busiest single day in the airline’s 89-year history. Out of the 10 busiest days in the airline’s history, eight fell in July 2018. On each, the airline transported more than 640,000 passengers.

In July, Delta Air Lines also recorded a 99.31 percent completion factor across main Delta routes and the Delta Connection system.

The most flights scheduled on one day in 2018 fell on July 20, when 6,087 Delta mainline and Connection system flights flew.
