Passengers at Abu Dhabi Duty Free have the opportunity to win 7.7 pounds of gold in a new Scratch & Win Gold promotion at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Through Sept. 30 at all terminals in the airport, customers who spend approximately $40 on food purchases or about $136 on perfumes and cosmetics will receive a scratch card for their chance to instantly win. “This promotional campaign is another great initiative from Abu Dhabi Duty Free and forms part of our ongoing commitment to delivering value added promotions and entertainment for our customers. The promotional campaign is supported with multiple product offers that reflect the real value of duty free shopping. We anticipate that there will be over 250,000 qualifying transactions over the course of the Gold promotion which will increase penetration conversion and average spend across our business,” said Dan Cappell, acting chief commercial officer, Abu Dhabi Airports.
