British Airways will launch seven new routes this summer from Manchester Airport and three new destinations from London Stansted Airport.
Starting in May, the airline will begin summer-only, direct flights from Manchester (MAN) to Alicante (ALC), Malaga (AGP), Ibiza (IBZ), Palma (PMI), Mykonos (JMK) and Nice (NCE), and a weekly service to London City Airport (LCY).
Flights from Stansted (STN) will service Florence (FLR), Geneva (GVA) and Nice, with increased frequency to Ibiza and Palma, and the resumption of Malaga and Faro (FAO) service. All flights will operate on the Embraer 190 jet aircraft. The new return flights from Manchester will operate once a week on weekends, with the exception of Ibiza, which will operate three times a week.
“We are very excited to be launching all these new routes from Manchester and Stansted, providing customers with flights to the sun direct from their doorstep with British Airways,” said Alex Cruz, chief executive officer and chairman, British Airways. “These are the destinations that our customers tell us they want to fly to so we look forward to a busy summer.”
All flights are currently are on sale with the exception of the Manchester–London City flights, which go on sale Feb. 21.
