Working for a travel publication definitely has its perks and constantly being immersed in travel is definitely No. 1 for me. It gives me the ability to plan my future trips, build a pretty impressive bucket list and revisit fond memories I have of where my adventures have taken me. I was thinking yesterday about some of the places I visited that left a mark and this week I’m sharing them with you.

Raj Ghat, Delhi
Raj Ghat, Delhi: A beautiful, lush park where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, the gardens surrounding this area are peaceful and beautiful; it was a wonderful spot to visit and reflect on our last day in Delhi.
Abbey Road Studios, London: One of the first times I went to London was to entertain clients at the Ambassador of Rock Festival in Hyde Park (rough life, I know). If you’re a fan of The Beatles and a lover of music, this is a must see. Other famous albums were also created here. Make sure you bring a marker to sign the wall outside with your favorite Beatles lyric.
The Uffizi Gallery, Florence: This is one of my favorite art museums in the world, hands down. Not only do they have some of the most precious works of art, but the marble and bronze sculptures are just incredible. When you visit, make sure to purchase the Firenze Card, which acts like a fast pass and gets you into the museum quickly. Should you wish to visit the museum today, check out www.uffizi.it and virtually visit the new arrangements of 16th-century paintings.
Enjoy your virtual travels today and I look forward to revisiting more of my favorite spots with you!

On one side, waves breathe in and out across wide stretches of sand or explode against jagged rocks, sending spray shooting into the air. On the other side, the scenery changes: Cliffs rise like walls, vineyards clip past in neat rows, pine trees line the road. Between these, cities give way to small communities with art galleries, local restaurants and shops selling beachwear.
