Until recently, the sun never peeked through the window by my desk. Thanks to the longer days and the coming of spring, I get to enjoy the warmth of the sun all the way until 5 o’clock! I also can’t help but get excited when I walk to my car and remember I don’t have to immediately turn my headlights on. It’s official, spring is almost here! I don’t know about you, but I am much happier when it is sunny and warm out. While I do enjoy getting cozy by a fire when it is snowing, I am over it after about a month. I wouldn’t say spring is my favorite season — I think all the seasons have great things to offer — but spring definitely puts a smile on my face. I love the first sight of crocuses blooming and trees budding, the first smells of barbecues (even though it is probably still too cold to have one) and pulling out my summer clothes for the first time (while packing up those winter clothes!). Even though it is only 40 degrees today, I am keeping my fingers crossed that the 60-degree weather is just around the corner.
