So Long, Summer!
After a few weeks of on-and-off blazing hot temperatures, it’s slowly starting to cool down here in the Northeast. As summer winds down, I’ve been thinking back to some of the highlights of the last few months:
- Plenty of swim time at family pools
- Celebrating my ninth wedding anniversary with dinner at My Loup in Philadelphia
- A one-night getaway to New York City to see Cabaret on Broadway, with a stay at Conrad New York Downtown
- Spending the Fourth of July with family in Ocean City, New Jersey, and taking in the beautiful beachfront fireworks
- Visiting my local farmers market each week and enjoying the freshest seasonal produce
- Celebrating my cousin’s bachelorette party at SoJo Spa Club ahead of her September nuptials
- Attending baby showers and birthday parties of loved ones
On the bright side, fall is my favorite season. I’m looking forward to donning my favorite cozy clothes and taking part in classic autumnal activities in the weeks and months ahead.
