Two weeks ago I attended the New Year’s Eve Experience event at LUMA Hotel Times Square and got to see what it would be like to stay in one of the Ball Drop View rooms and suites on New Year’s Eve.

Ring in 2020 from the comfort of your hotel room. When you book a Ball Drop View room or suite you can still experience the ball drop at midnight in person without dealing with the crowds on the street. The view of the ball is a rear view so you can’t see the events happening on the street, but you can enjoy those moments on TV.

With two different packages offered, your night can’t go wrong. Enjoy a full-course meal in the hotel restaurant, Ortzi, or have a bottle of Champagne and a platter of treats sent right to your door. No matter what package you choose, expect a visit from Alina, the hotel’s butler robot, with some NYE goodies.
