With the long holiday weekend coming up and the unofficial end to summer, I’m looking ahead to upcoming fall activities and trips.

This weekend my husband and I plan to do a family hike somewhere in South Jersey, and our friend is throwing an end-of-summer party. While I will miss the sun staying out late and the warm weather, I’m completely ready to enjoy the fall season. I’m looking forward to attending local fall festivals, apple and pumpkin picking, decorating for fall and Halloween and enjoying my favorite seasonal treats.
Looking further ahead, my husband and I will visit Asheville, North Carolina, at the end of October with a group of friends. While there, we’re looking forward to brewery hopping and going on a few hikes to take in the fall foliage.
