Are you always looking for new ways to stay entertained at the airport? I recently heard about Gameway; this company is certainly putting a new spin on combatting airport boredom!
The pioneer of airport gaming lounges recently opened Gameway in John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 5, its second location at JFK and 10th nationwide. The location blends aviation and pop culture, positioned within JetBlue’s flagship terminal. Travelers find Xbox, PlayStation, PC and retro stations, plus snacks and drinks, in the modern social space designed for both seasoned gamers and casual players. Visitors get their own gaming station and can choose from current-gen consoles and gaming PCs, with 4K displays, premium headphones, high-speed WiFi, charging ports and a library of iconic gaming titles. Alcohol is also available for purchase. Sessions are designed around passengers’ flight schedules.
Gameway’s 10 lounges operate in major U.S. airports including Dallas (DFW), Los Angeles (LAX), Houston (HOU), Charlotte (CLT) and Detroit (DTW). The newly opened JFK Terminal 5 Gameway Ultra is now available to ticketed passengers daily from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m.
