Instead of buying my parents a material gift for Mother’s and Father’s Day this year, my brothers, cousin and I bought them and ourselves tickets to a Beer Festival in Bucks County. We love going to different breweries and local beer festivals to try different local brews, so we thought it would be the perfect present for them!

The beer fest was located at the Pennsbury Manor in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. The manor used to be home to William Penn, but now it has been turned into a museum that gives visitors a chance to experience what colonial life was like. When we arrived at the Manor, we were guided out towards the back and past the manor and other exhibits. There were a couple tents set up with about 10–15 different local Bucks County breweries for us to try. A majority of them had two different brews for tasting. There were also two different wine companies as well as a cider.

I am not the biggest beer fan, so I was happy to see the cider company there, which also happens to be one of my favorite brands: Sir Charles. I kept going back up to that stand; we even made friends with the people running it.

Although it was a very hot day, we still had a great time. We enjoyed great company, delicious drinks and stunning views of the Delaware River. Can’t wait for the next one!
