A trip to NYC is always an immediate “Yes.” When my colleague Kim extended the invite to attend Collette’s luncheon at Ci Siamo on West 33rd Street this past week, I was ecstatic.
We were graciously greeted with bubbly stationed in the elevator, setting the tone for the next few hours. With passed hors d’oeuvres and wine for the first half hour, I had the opportunity to connect with fellow writers and PR agencies from the travel industry.
Our lunch consisted of yummy onion tarts, fresh focaccia bread and the crispiest chicken I have ever had. While we all wined and dined, we learned more about Collette’s small group tours planned for 2027, new travel trends and listened to personal stories from trip attendees.
We quickly rushed to our next meeting of the day, at The Algonquin Hotel, where we perfectly captured social media content for the hotel’s month-long special programming in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Sipping on their signature drink, “Sunday in the Park,” we learned all about its dedication towards American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
We hustled back to Penn Station and were quickly back in New Jersey, about a short hour train ride later.
