Sunday nights scream for ice cream, right? After seeing 1-900-ICE-CREAM’s drool-worthy post on Instagram introducing their new flavors, I couldn’t stop thinking about the peanut butter and espresso soft serve twist offered on the menu for a short amount of time. It sounded like the perfect combo, and I knew I had to try it as soon as possible.

If you haven’t been, 1-900-ICE-CREAM is located on Front Street in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood (they’ve also got a spot in Rittenhouse), and let me tell you, the ice cream selection is next-level. The case was stacked with all kinds of unique flavors like Banana Bam Bam, Rocket Sauce Freak Blaster and Italian Pleasure Planet. Seriously, who comes up with these names? With so many fun and out-of-the-box flavors to choose from, it was so hard to make a final decision. But, of course, I stuck with what brought me there in the first place — the peanut butter and espresso twist. And, wow, it was every bit as delicious as I’d hoped.

When asked if I wanted any toppings, I obviously could not resist the Oreo cookie crumble, adding the perfect crunch to my soft, creamy, sweet treat. All on top of a waffle cone, it made my Sunday feel complete.

Next on my list to try is the frosted animal cookie and vanilla soft serve twist. How unreal does that sound?
