Amid all of the changes and rescheduling a lot of bride and grooms had to deal with over the last 14 months, I am happy to have finally attended a wedding ... as scheduled! This past weekend, a great friend of mine said “I do” to her groom at sunset in Spring Lake, New Jersey.
The Sports Industry Awards returned with a bang last night as 200 guests packed the W Hotel Great Ball Room for the gala ceremony.
This past weekend was the beginning of the Jewish holiday of Passover, which in Hebrew is called Pesach. This spring holiday celebrates the liberation of Hebrews from slavery under the Pharaoh in Egypt. It will last March 28–April 4, and those who celebrate typically do so by avoiding all leavened bread or any product containing leaven. This represents the matzo created by Jews leaving Egypt who are said to have baked it on their backs while traveling. I love matzo any time of the year!
