Alaska Airlines grows its route network from its hub at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport with new non-stop service to Charleston International Airport. The new destination becomes the seventh city the carrier added this year, joining last month’s launch of new service from Seattle to Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
“We’re excited to add Charleston, South Carolina, to our growing list of non-stop cities from Seattle, now 86 and counting,” said John Kirby, vice president of capacity planning, Alaska Airlines.
“On behalf of the Charleston County Aviation Authority, we are proud to welcome Alaska Airlines to the Lowcountry and look forward to a long and prosperous partnership,” said Billy Swails, chairman, Charleston County Aviation Authority. “Service to Seattle gives our passengers an important new destination.”
